This museum tells the history/story of the east texas oil boom and lets you walk around in a recreated version of a town during that time period. You can tell a lot of work & care went into this museum.

Way better than I expected! Pricing was under $40 for 4 adults and a child, the museum was a really good size and had lots of activities/interactive things to do. Very clean and the staff were above and beyond friendly. Gift shop was reasonably priced.
A very pleasant surprise. Tells the story of the oil boom in East Texas in the 2930's. Fascinating!
There's a really cool elevator puppet show, lots of shops to walk in and out on your own to discover. There's also a neat little movie theater that actually has showing times for a movie about the oil boom. I would go again!
This place has changed very little since I was a child. Very interesting and a great place to take the whole family. I always love visiting.
