My young adult cat was very ill so I took her to see Dr Ray. They were kind enough to work her in because we had never been there before. Dr. Ray was able to find the problems with her mostly on the physical exam and didn't order a load of unnecessary tests. The physical exam was very thorough. The vet tech Jennifer was amazing and meticulously practiced infection control technique until Dr Ray ruled out a contagious disease. They were both as gentle as possible with her. She is recovering well with their treatment. I am very pleased with them in every regard and I will use them for all of my pets from here on.
I would give ZERO stars if I could. These are the most dishonest people I have ever have the displeasure of doing business with. When I called to schedule an appointment for my dog and cat I was very specific about only wanting their shots and deworming the cat. Even during the process I asked about how much it would cost so far and was told by Jenifer the vet tech that it was going to be $114 for both. When I went to the front counter to pay I was charged $238! I am so angry and upset, I worked too hard for my money to be conned like this. What if I have not had that much money? Would they have had me arrested? Please do not take your pets there unless you have a pet emergency, go to the Animal Protection League where the price they give is the price you are charged!
My dog just loves to go to vet. She gets all excited when we pull up. I have to put her leash on in the car because she will just take off running when open car door.. it's Soo funny to watch her lmbo. Thank you Kilgore Small Animal Vet for being there for my dog Angel who is a dachshund.
Dr. Ray and staff truly love animals. Been taking my animals there for over 20 years. I drive 30 minutes to go to this clinic and will use no one else.
